Here is another page I have made with fabric for a fabric journal. I have based the whole page on paper backed denim. I have embellished with leatherette die cuts and machine sewn designs.

I am starting a project with fabric journal making. Collage with fabric and embellishments is an extension of all my sewing and paper craft combined and I am excited to start something. Raw edges and inexact yet very specifically placed pieces are the essence of the piece. Here is the result of my work so far.
This bag was made using scrap fabric sent to me by XCVI. (#xcvi/diy) I used my embroidery machine and these teen girl designs to add to the fabric. Fully lined and reversible. Great to give as a gift to girls of all ages.
A lovely gift to make and give to an expectant mother is a bib or a number of them. This particular one was made with an all in the hoop design on an electronic embroidery machine. Bibs can be from the simplest knit, towel fabric, vinyl or created from scraps. I used the Babyville press studs for the closure.
Here is a hanger embroidered fox that can be a catch all for the odds and ends, bibs and pacifiers. A useful and pretty gift. I purchased teething rings to serve as rings. Later they can be given to a small child to play with.
🌈Having seen many multi-colored quilts, I decided to make one of paper. I used these bright card stock pieces to weave together a colorful page. I added Mediterranean theme stamps from Stampin Up to give it a theme. 🌈
💫This lady in green acrylics is a mixed media piece based on paper, acrylics and gesso. Very abstract art in the background and to color the lady.💫
🌷Texture paste on die cut ladies was used as the focal point for this mixed media work. Acrylic paints were used on a paper textured base. This was added to my mixed media journal.🌷
