BABY / KIDS' CLOTHES
Applique Bibs made In-The-Hoop
These bibs are Pickle Pie in-the-hoop designs. Reversible and useful for mothers of little ones using bibs. This is a small size probably good for very small babies.
Baby Fleece Leggings
I used a baby pattern that I had purchased. Leggings, however, are very easy to make by taking old pants and laying them on fabric and cutting around the edges. Machine embroidered designs are really nice as they are usually placed on the seat or front of the body piece, thus not making the baby uncomfortable because the pampers, or whatever brand of diapers is being used, protect the baby from the inner side of the design.
Twirly Whirly Skirt
Fun to sew. This fabric is a little finicky, but the final product is great. The wearer will be able to swirl with great effect. Just sew a seam down the side of a size you want. No sewing of the hem. Elastic waist.

Painted Canvas Shoes
This was such a fantastic project. Using white canvas shoes, stamps for the outlines of the flowers and birds, and painting with Tulip fabric markers I felt so creative making these shoes. Creative kids could also have lots of fun doing this project. I looked up You tube ideas for pictures and instructions and then put together my own ideas.
Disney Designs on Skirts and Tees for little girls.
Embroidered on a Brother Quattro, these skirts and tee used the Disney designs in the machine. Fabrics were tee stretch fabric. I used no show mesh stabilizer and rhinestones for effect.
Tee for a Little Boy
A quick tee is always fun to make, and always useful to add to a kid's wardrobe.

Summer Dresses for Little Girls
Dresses for Little Girls: Based on Tee Shirts
I have created some dresses using a tee shirt as the starting point. I purchased fabric to suit (you can use up scraps perfectly in this situation) and put together some cute little creations that have made me smile. I have added applique to some, frills to three of them, and used an old tee shirt for one of them.
Little Yellow Dress
The pre-rouched fabric was purchased from Joann's. I cut off a strip from the bottom and made it into the straps. I added a frill of dotted, matching, cotton fabric for effect and length.
Tees with embellishments
Simple tees (either bought or home sewn) can be embellished with embroidery designs, home-made appliques, or bought appliques ironed or sewn on.
Home sewn pants, pyjamas and bibs with "cricut" appliques and fabric designs used as appliques.
