I made this set of 8 cards with Laurel Burch stamps and dies on gelli plate Paper. These will be sent to the organization mentioned above.
Added another set of art coins to my journal. These were made with Stampin Up stamps from the Beautiful You collection. These can be used on any craft project.
I decided to set Atc coins on die cuts to create settings of interest. These can be used to embellish cards or scrapbooks but I have arranged them in my Atc journal.
if you are wanting to experiment with stencils I recommend taking your dies and making some with a thick cardstock. Of course there are some fantastic stencils out there, but before you go out and buy them, try to make your own.
I made these for my new experiments with gelli plates and you can see them here. These are with Art Deco dies.
I have made some more cards for the organization that sends cards out to seniors. I tackled this project by sitting with a specific idea and making a number at the same time. I don’t usually do my work this way, but it worked out well. Perhaps doing it this way reflects the mood of the day.
After seeing such lovely work from Crafters using alcohol inks, I decided to purchase some Tim Holtz inks. I have been playing around with Yupo Paper as well as testing the inks on other paper surfaces.
The best is Yupo Paper. However, it is rather pricey if you want to do a lot of projects with alcohol inks. I found that using the back of Hp photo glossy cards (4 x 6 inches) was the next best surface. It has a grittier surface and works well. Here are some samples. Notice I have doodled in the samples with black micro perm pens.
The top two are on Hp paper and the bottom one is on Yupo.
This little picture was made with Elizabeth Craft Design black outline stickers. Just peel off and color in with any medium. Love doing these .
There are many ways to prepare a stamp for die cutting. One can cut first and then color with inks of your choice. However you can also color in by using foam pads and ink and coloring a whole page before die cutting. This way the colors can smudge all over the place and the dies will cut away all the unnecessary strokes. This set is from Heartfelt Creations. Colors are the new Harmony stamp pads from Crafters Companion.
I wanted to make a fun theme set of coins. I used the giraffe by Stamps by Judith to make these little cute coins. I used Tombow markers and also added gloss Mod Podge to add shine.
Art Trading Coins are such fun to make. Themed coins are a great way to test out new techniques and new stamps that you have added to your collection. These are made with stamps from Crafters Companions.
I have made a set of cards to send to Cards for Hospitalized Children. I hope these will inspire you to do the same. I used Julie Nutting stamps and dies, as well as Stamping Bella and a vairiety ofother brands for embellishments. Please “like “ to show your support for this cause.
This card was made by adding and embellishing a paper dress. Fabric flowers, die cuts, feathers and trim add to the style.
This project was made on a frame base (IKEA) the Art Deco lady is Tattered Lace. The fuschia flower is made with Crafters Companion stamp and die. The colors blend well and the result is very pretty. The outer fence like die cut is Tattered Lace too.
A diary was covered in this lovely fabric. I measured and sewed this item. I added a closure with a belt of the fabric with brad closures. This is a nice gift to give or to update recipe books or kids’ schoolbooks.
This is a collection of my Atc coins made in the past two days. What a fun extension to my crafts.! If you haven’t seen this idea I suggest you have a look at Pinterest. The same can apply to cards or coins.
Sewing, machine embroidery, paper-craft, and stamping are my hobbies. At the moment die-cutting paper craft is my favorite, and I am sharing my projects with you on this website.
